Last week, the Washington Redskins made headlines for not good or bad, but… interesting reasons. Midway through the week, on the heels of a 21-9 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, Washington signed two perceivably washed up receivers, both of them former first-round picks: Breshad Perriman and Michael Floyd.
Both receivers showed promise at some point in their respective football careers; Permian’s best days came in college, while Floyd reached his peak in 2013 with an 1,000-yard season. However, in the present day, neither receiver is a stable commodity, and it was known that neither would have a large role with Washington.
