At the quarter-pole of the NFL season, we usually know a little bit about who’s good, who’s bad, who’s underachieving, who’s overachieving, etc. But in the NFC East in 2018, I think we almost know less than we did before the season began.
I think we can confidently say that Graham Gano effectively ended the Giants’ season on Sunday. But after watching Dallas’ defense beat up on Deshaun Watson, while their offense looked inept, and after watching Carson Wentz and the vaunted Eagles’ defense looked pedestrian against a Vikings team that had been bad up to that point in the season, most Redskins fans were starting to feel optimistic about this season.
