The Washington Redskins have announced that they have re-signed strong safety Duke Ihenacho. The Skins recently extended a tender to Ihenacho who was a restricted free agent. Now Ihenacho has been officially re-signed.
Ihenacho won the starting strong safety job in training camp last season. However, he was lost for season in week one with a dislocated wrist injury. The Skins struggled the rest of the season trying to fill the spot until DeAngelo Hall took over late in the year.
Now it seems Duke Ihenacho has a shot to step back in as the starting strong safety in 2016.
