Redskins RB Matt Jones breaks out of slump with a big day vs New Orleans

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Washington Redskins rookie running back Matt Jones has been relatively quiet for the past two months. Since rushing for 123 yards and two touchdowns in a Week 2 victory over St. Louis, Jones hadn't rushed for more than 38 yards in a game.

That changed in the Redskins' 47-14 rout of New Orleans last Sunday. Jones ran for 56 yards -- his second-highest single-game total of the season -- and also caught three passes for 131 yards and a touchdown. The TD came on a 78-yard screen pass and broke a 14-14 tie with 10 minutes remaining in the first half.
