Redskins RB Kapri Bibbs shines on a down day for the offense

The 2014 undrafted free agent only had two carries for 6 yards, but he made a considerable impact on the game, scoring the second quarter touchdown that would give the Redskins a two possession lead over the Cardinals. He made quick changes in direction, using the open space to his advantage, and with the help of a few solid blockers, he was able to find the end zone.

Kapri Bibbs had been out of the job for some time before the Redskins called and signed him to the practice squad. He was nearing the time territory where most NFL hopefuls lose their patience and hang up the cleats, and even after his tryout with Washington, he wasn’t immediately rewarded the job.
