ASHBURN, Va. -- The shoulder holds up well during games, allowing Redskins running back Chris Thompson to ignore the reality of his injury for a few hours. A day or so later, the pain in his shoulder serves as a constant reminder.
But it’s a pain Thompson is fine enduring for now.
“I’ll be OK going forward, but sometimes I get worried about what the news might be after the season,” said Thompson, who has 35 catches for 240 yards and two touchdowns as well as 28 runs for 197 yards this season.
