Redskins QB Kirk Cousins gets job done vs. Bears, continues efficient play

ASHBURN, Va. -- You can pick apart the two throws that Kirk Cousins should not have made -- one of which ended in disaster; the other in good fortune. Or you can point to any number of plays in which he led receivers to yards after the catch, threw with a hand in his face and executed the offense.

Here’s the thing: The Redskins are 6-7 with an inconsistent running game and a defense that has undergone many changes because of injuries. Part of the credit absolutely must go to Cousins. In the last seven games he’s thrown 12 touchdowns and three interceptions (the Redskins are 4-3 in that time).
