The Washington Redskins had four healthy quarterbacks on their roster before last Thursday’s preseason game. Now, that number stands at three.
According to coach Jay Gruden, fourth-string quarterback Josh Woodrum suffered a torn pectoral in the team’s 30-10 loss to the Cleveland Browns. In the contest, Woodrum went 6-of-11 for 44 yards and tossed an interception.
Woodrum had signed with Washington earlier this offseason after seeing some action in the AAF for the Salt Lake Stallions. In that action, he completed 64 percent of his passes for 1,846 yards, 6 touchdowns, and 8 interceptions and was mostly viewed as a camp body.
