Washington Redskins punter Tress Way and guard Brandon Scherff were voted to the 2020 Pro Bowl, the league announced Tuesday.
In addition to Way and Scherff being named starters, safety Landon Collins was chosen to be a first alternate and defensive tackle Matt Ioannidis was named a fourth alternate.
Scherff was selected for the first time in his career after making the Pro Bowl in 2016 and 2017. However, the news comes the same day that the Redskins placed the right guard on injured reserve with shoulder and elbow injuries, ending his season and potentially his career in Washington, as he’s a pending free agent.
