Over the course of the past two NFL seasons, Tress Way has arguably been the best punter in the NFL. The long-time member of the Washington Redskins didn’t get a lot of recognition for it until December of this year rolled around.
Way was named the Pro Bowl punter for the NFC and joined Brandon Scherff as the only two Redskins to make the initial Pro Bowl roster. Shortly thereafter, the Redskins rewarded Way’s efforts with an extension.
And now, Way is getting even more league-wide praise.
On Friday afternoon, it was revealed that Way made the AP All-Pro second team as the starting punter.
