In 2015 the Washington Redskins offense ranked 17th in the NFL. The Skins passing offense took off late last season behind a resurgent Kirk Cousins and ranked 11th league wide. In comparison their rushing offense was once again a disappointment, ranking a mere 20th in the league.
After starting out strong in the first few games of the season, the Redskins running game soon went into the toilet. An early injury to deep threat receiver DeSean Jackson allowed defense to focus more on stopping the run with no deep threat to worry about.
Another injury to left guard Shawn Lauvao also hurt to the Skins running game.
