Before the 2015 season began the Washington Redskins took steps to upgrade their offensive line in a few different ways. First they added more talent to the group by using their first round draft pick to take offensive tackle Brandon Scherff.
They also hired one of the best offensive line coaches in the business in Bill Callahan. However, they didn’t deploy Scherff as an offensive tackle, they used him as the starter at right guard. They were able to put Scherff at guard due to the development of second year man Morgan Moses at right tackle.
