Redskins Officially Release WR Andre Roberts

The Washington Redskins have reportedly released WR Andre Roberts as first reported by Mike Jones of the Washington Post, and confirmed by multiple sources. The team has not officially announced the roster move yet. Roberts was signed by the Redskins in 2014 after spending his first 4 years in the NFL with the Arizona Cardinals. Roberts was going to be Washington's #2 WR until DeSean Jackson unexpectedly became a Redskin.

During Roberts' two seasons in Washington, he had 47 receptions for 588 yards, and 2 TDs. He also had one of the Redskins two kickoff returns for a TD last season.
