The NFC East hasn’t had a repeat winner since 2004, when the Philadelphia Eagles punctuated a four-year streak under then-head coach Andy Reid. The Washington Redskins likely won’t be players in the division this year, but one can never truly say “never” when it comes to the NFC East.
In the 2020 NFL Draft, that notion was prevalent, as the teams of the NFC East didn’t separate from each other as much as they might’ve wanted to. A couple teams stood out from the second pair, but there was no truly bad class, and in the end, it might be the smaller decisions that decide between success and failure for the franchises of the East.
