Redskins News: Spencer Long to start at left guard?

The Washington Redskins lost a vital cog in their offensive line in week three when starting left guard Shawn Lauvao went down with an ankle injury. The Redskins have since place him on the season ending IR, so he won’t be available for the rest of the season.

Backup center Josh LeRibeus came in to replace Lauvao at left guard against the Giants but according to Redskins head coach Jay Gruden it will two other players competing to start at the position in second-year man Spencer Long and rookie Arie Kouandjio.
