I’ve always questioned why some people of other races seem to care more about changing the Washington Redskins name than the people who should be most Offended? Native Americans themselves. Well maybe a new Washington Post poll will convince proponents of changing the name that most Native Americans don’t share their concerns.
According to the Washington Post 9 out 10 Native Americans say they are not offended by the Washington Redskins name. This is probably a disappointment to those who want to see the name changed because it weakens their argument. There are still some Native Americans who say they are offended by the name but it seems they are far outnumbered by those who aren’t.
