The Washington Redskins didn’t go quietly into the night despite trailing the New York Giants by as many as 14 points on Sunday. They didn’t give up after Dwayne Haskins exited the game with an ankle injury.
They didn’t end up winning, but they showed some fight by getting the game to overtime and falling in a 41-35 thriller.
Neither defense played well in this contest, and the Redskins secondary looked particularly bad. Forced to use a patchwork unit of Aaron Colvin, Danny Johnson, and Coty Sensabaugh as their starters, they simply couldn’t contain the Giants passing game.
