The Washington Redskins are getting bitten by the injury bug in their first preseason game against the Cleveland Browns. First they lost tight end Niles Paul to an ankle injury and now they’ve lost running back Silas Redd to a knee injury.
Redd was running the ball and was stopped then his knee got caught under the tackler and twisted in an awkward direction. Redd was then carted off the field with his knee in an air cast.
He was competing for that third down running back spot but now that seems to be in jeopardy.
