Washington Redskins linebacker Perry Ellis Jr. is listed as questionable for Thursday night’s game against the New York Giants with a left calf injury.
Riley sustained the injury in Sunday’s 24-10 win vs. the St. Louis Rams and did not participate in practices this week. However, Riley said on Tuesday that if the game were to be played that day, he would have been ready to go.
If Riley does not play, the Redskins will have just three inside linebackers for the game — Keenan Robinson, Will Compton and Terrance Plummer. Martrell Spaight was placed on injured reserve on Tuesday because of a concussion he suffered in the team’s season-opening loss.
