Typically with the Washington Redskins offense this season, I’ve wanted them to establish the run and take the pressure off of quarterback Kirk Cousins without forcing him to have to put the team on his shoulders to win the game.
Cousins having the ability to utilize play-action passing gives him bigger windows to find open receivers and decreases the chances that he’ll throw interceptions. However, this week against the New Orleans Saints it may be best if Kirk Cousins and the Redskins offense sets up the run with the pass.
The New Orleans Saints have one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL, giving up 292 yards passing a game.
