For the past four seasons Alfred Morris has been the primary ball carrier for the Washington Redskins. But heading into the 2016 season it appears as though all of that is going to change.
The Redskins will allow Morris to test the free agent market this offseason. So Morris will more than likely sign with a new team leaving an open void in the Redskins backfield. However it seems as though the Redskins think they already have Morris’ replacement on hand.
That would be one Matt Jones. Jones burst onto the scene as rookie for the Redskins with a tremendous performance in week 2 against the Rams.
