The Washington Redskins are expected to be interested in cornerback James Bradberry when free agency begins later this month, according to multiple reports.
Bradberry, who spent the first four seasons of his career with the Carolina Panthers, is one of the top cornerbacks on the market, a position that is a major need for Washington. The Redskins are thin at the position after releasing veteran Josh Norman last month. Washington’s top cornerback, Quinton Dunbar, has also demanded a trade.
If Bradberry signs with the Redskins, the 26-year-old would be reunited with coach Ron Rivera, who was with the Panthers for nine years before being fired in the fall.
