Trent Williams injured his thumb in last week's win over the Giants. He went to visit a specialist in Pittsburgh to evaluate the extent of the injury, and the need for surgery. Dr. Jay Gruden told us yesterday that Williams did have the surgery and would miss tomorrow's game against the Falcons. He said Williams would be week to week, but gave no firm timeline for a return.
"We have no idea right now. We’ll get him back here. He had it up in Pittsburgh. Once he gets back here, we’ll further evaluate it and see where he is and how soon we can get a little thing on there where he can function.
