Naturally, the coming of a new season brings worry that the latest opportunity for the team to compete will be constrained by cataclysmic health issues, much like last season.
The Washington Redskins haven’t necessarily been lucky so far. The team lost second-round rookie and running game catalyst Derrius Guice for the season. Other solid depth players such as Robert Davis and Arie Kouandjio were lost as well due to injuries sustained in practice. Kouandjio’s loss is particularly crucial, as the offensive line depth was suspect to start the offseason.
Nevertheless, Washington has to move forward with the team they have.
