ASHBURN, Va., -- The Washington Redskins continue to seek help for their defensive line -- and it might come from a familiar face.
The Redskins are hosting two defensive linemen Monday, a source confirmed: Terrance Knighton and Phil Taylor. The Washington Post first reported their visits. Knighton played for Washington last season but the Redskins declined to re-sign him. They did not like that he played at around 400 pounds last season, impacting his ability to stay effective throughout the entire game. His best games occurred later in the year as he got into better shape.
