Still searching for options in their thin secondary, the Redskins on Wednesday are hosting former Indianapolis Colts cornerback Greg Toler for a free-agent visit, a person with knowledge of the situation confirmed.
An eighth-year veteran, Toler — a D.C. native — stood out at Northwestern High School in Hyattsville before playing at Saint Paul’s College and eventually entering the NFL as a fourth-round pick of the Arizona Cardinals in 2009.
Toler has spent the past three seasons in Indianapolis, where new Redskins outside linebackers coach Greg Manusky served as defensive coordinator before he was dismissed earlier this offseason.
