Last season Washington Redskins general manager Scot McCloughan addressed the free safety spot by making a trade for veteran Dashon Goldson. However, Goldson has been released and the one-year band-aid on the position has been removed.
Thus leaving an opening for 2016. Redskins head coach Jay Gruden has spoke highly of the way that veteran DB DeAngelo Hall played at strong safety last season. Gruden stated that he believes Hall could become a very good safety for the Skins.
Which makes me think that Hall might be the favorite to replace Goldson at free safety.
