The Washington Redskins have only signed three free agents from another team during NFL free agency. One is defensive end Kendall Reyes and another is linebacker Terence Garvin. The third is strong safety David Bruton. The Redskins needed to add depth at safety and they turned to free agency for help.
They signed Bruton to a 3-year, $9 million contract after spending the first seven years of his career with the Denver Broncos. Bruton has been a reserve player for most of his time in Denver. However, special teams is where he made a name for himself.
