UPDATE: The Redskins offered up to $8 million per year to Flowers
Ereck Flowers has left the building. The Redskins signed him as a $4 million project to convert to guard last year, and the experiment succeeded. Now Flowers will take his new lease on life to Miami to sign a 3-year, $30 million deal with the Dolphins.
Ron Rivera and the Redskins were interested in bringing Flowers back to play left guard again this season. They just placed the non-exclusive franchise tag on Brandon Scherff, and wanted to shore up the other side with Flowers.
