Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk is reporting that the team has fired former Director of College Scouting Scott Campbell. Campbell had been with the team for almost a couple of decades. The reason for his firing is unknown at this time. Campbell was most recently a Senior Personnel Executive for the team. This now marks two years in a row where the team has fired a major contributor in the scouting department. It is assumed that Bruce Allen, Doug Williams, and Kyle Smith (who is now the Director of College Scouting) will now have even bigger roles in selecting college talent.
