The Washington Redskins came into the their Thursday night football game with the New York Giant with some momentum from a week two win on their side. But at the end of the night what ever momentum they had was taken away as the Redskins fell on the road to the Giants.
Things got started on the wrong foot for the Redskins when at 13:07 in the first quarter a Tress Way punt was blocked by the Giants Rashad Jennings. The ball went out of the end zone for a safety giving the Giants a 2-0 lead.
