Before the 2015 NFL Draft the Washington Redskins made the decision to pickup the fifth year option on quarterback Robert Griffin III. If he plays well this season, RGIII stands to make $16 million in 2016.
And the Redskins made sure they gave him more weapons on offensive to help the quarterback succeed this year. To help Robert Griffin III have more time to throw in the passing game, the Redskins took offensive tackle Brandon Scherff with the number five pick in the draft.
RGIII was one of the most sacked quarterbacks in the NFL last season.
