ASHBURN — The Washington Redskins addressed another major need on the roster Friday, drafting Ohio State wide receiver Terry McLaurin with the 76th overall pick in the third round of the NFL draft.
In doing so, Washington reunited McLaurin with quarterback Dwayne Haskins, who the Redskins took 15th overall Thursday.
With Haskins throwing him the ball, McLaurin caught 35 receptions for 701 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2018. McLaurin is a 6-foot, 208-pound wideout with impressive speed, running a 4.35 40-yard dash at the NFL scouting combine.
