Washington Redskins officials believe they emerged from this weekend’s NFL Draft with an improved roster thanks to the 10 players selected.
Some players could start from Day 1. Others will come in and compete for key rotational positions, and others will take some time to develop.
Regardless, the depth as a whole has improved, Coach Jay Gruden says, and the level of competition in practices will ramp up as a result.
“Everybody’s going to have a chance to compete in training camp, and that’s the way it’s going to be and that’s never going to change from year to year,” the coach said.
