The Washington Redskins selected Kyshoen Jarrett with the 181st pick in the sixth round of NFL Draft 2015. The Redskins needed to add depth at the safety position and Jarrett adds another physical hard-nosed player to the Redskins defense.
Safety has been a liability for what seems like forever for the Redskins. Last seasons’ starters in Ryan Clark and Brandon Meriweather are no longer with the team. The signed Jeron Johnson in free agency to be the new strong safety and traded for Dashon Goldson to play free safety.
Kyshoen Jarrett is a strong safety and plays well close to the line of scrimmage.
