The Washington Redskins may lose Andre Roberts to season-ending knee surgery, Coach Jay Gruden said Thursday, after the wide receiver suffered a setback following a limited return to practice on Wednesday.
“It might be a meniscus issue,” Gruden said. “We’re trying to see if he’ll finish the season with it, or if he has to go have surgery.”
Roberts missed Sunday’s game at Chicago with the knee injury. He eased back to work on Wednesday, taking limited part in the workouts at Redskins Park, but didn’t dress for Thursday’s session and looked on from the sideline.
