Last season, the Washington Redskins made a baffling move when they elected to waive Kapri Bibbs. The decision was made shortly after they activated Byron Marshall from Injured Reserve, and they had too many bodies at running back. But still, few thought that the team would part with the third-string Bibbs in favor of Marshall.
Still, Bibbs was waived, and the ‘Skins weren’t able to sign him to the practice squad. Instead, he was claimed by the Green Bay Packers who needed some running back depth at the end of the season. And he remained there until Friday.
