RICHMOND — Already down two cornerbacks with Bashaud Breeland sidelined with a knee injury and Tevin Mitchel lost for the year and in need of shoulder surgery, the Redskins saw yet another member of the unit suffer an injury on Monday. Third-year cornerback David Amerson left practice with a shoulder injury and was in the process of being evaluated further.
Amerson suffered the injury while covering wide receiver DeSean Jackson on a deep route down the left sideline. Amerson prevented Jackson from catching the pass, and tried to make a play on the ball himself, but he landed on his left shoulder and was slow to get up.
