The Washington Redskins play their 2018 regular season home opener Sunday with a goal of going 2-0 for the first time since 2011. Here’s everything you need to know to watch.
Opponent: Indianapolis Colts (0-1)
Where: FedEx Field, Landover, Maryland
When: Sunday, Sept. 16, 1:00 p.m.
Television: CBS
Radio: The Team 980
What to watch for: Entering Sunday, Washington leads the NFL in two major categories: rushing yards (182 per game) and total yards allowed (213 per game). Of course, that only counts one contest, the Redskins’ Week 1 win over the Arizona Cardinals … Andrew Luck, in his first game since missing all of 2017 with a shoulder injury, completed 39-of-53 passes for 319 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in a Week 1 loss to the Bengals … Indianapolis already has ruled out starting left tackle Anthony Castonzo for Sunday’s game and placed starting right tackle J’Marcus Webb on injured reserve, both of them with hamstring injuries.
