The Redskins have replaced another coach, this time on offense. Wes Phillips has been the Redskins Tight Ends Coach since 2014. His contract was up, and the Redskins have hired former Green Bay Packers TE coach Brian Angelichio to replace Phillips who is expected to join the Los Angeles Rams after the Super Bowl. He will join his father, DC Wade Phillips, and his former Offensive Coordinator, now Rams Head Coach, Sean McVay.
Brian Angelichio has coached professionally for the last 24 years. He got his first NFL job with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2012 coaching tight ends.
