ASHBURN, Virginia -- At one point in training camp, Washington Redskins running back Chris Thompson was worried about his right leg. After all, the running back was recovering from his broken fibula and torn ligaments. The injury required surgery that included having five screws inserted.
Thompson wasn’t sure when he would feel like himself. But that day finally arrived, leading him to shed any nerves about what might happen in a game. And here’s the kicker: He said he might be more dangerous than last year.
“I’m not worried about it at all," Thompson said.
