RICHMOND, Va. -- It’s hard to notice a difference, but Chris Thompson insists one exists. He’s not yet planting the way he likes on pass routes; he’s not yet trusting what his right leg can, or will, do. And he knows it will be like this for a little while longer.
As he returns from surgery on his right leg after a broken fibula, Thompson said he won’t be fully recovered for a couple more months. In the meantime, he needs to regain trust in his right leg. He broke the fibula during a Nov. 19 game at New Orleans.
