This offseason the Washington Redskins went to great lengths to ensure that they kept the vast majority of their team from last season in place. Other than cornerback Josh Norman the Skins didn’t make any big splashes in free agency. They chose not to make huge additions at positions that I felt were weak areas like the defensive line and in particular center.
The Redskins do return from last season starter Kory Lichtensteiger, backup Josh LeRibeus and 2015 seventh round draft pick Austin Reiter. Lichtensteiger was lost for eleven games last season due to injury. LeRibeus stepped in while Lichtensteiger was out but gave way to him in the Redskins divisional playoff game.
