It’s go time for the Washington Redskins. Weeks away from the regular season, Friday’s game against the Denver Broncos will be the Redskins‘ best chance to fine-tune things before taking on the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1.
Redskins coach Jay Gruden did not reveal how long the starters will play, but they are expected to see significant playing time.
“I just want to see [the starters] come out and play with some good energy, run to the ball on defense and be smart,” Gruden said. “I’d like to not have any pre-snap penalties.
