Redskins bring in Terrance “Pot Roast” Knighton for a workout

According to the Washington Post and Rich Tandler of CSN Mid-Atlantic, the Washington Redskins have brought Terrance “Pot Roast” Knighton, who played for the Redskins last year, and former No. 1 pick Phil Taylor in for workouts on Monday.

The two players are oddly intertwined. When the sometimes 400 pound Knighton left the Broncos to play for Washington, Taylor took his place in Denver. According to CSN Mid-Atlantic, Taylor is 337 lbs.; Knighton has “slimmed down” to 350 lbs.

After starting 15 games with Washington in 2015, Knighton signed on with the Patriots. The Patriots cut Knighton prior to this season.
