The Redskins have re-signed defensive end Frank Kearse for a third time this season, and waived inside linebacker Terrance Plummer. The team also made two additions to their practice squad, and also made a subtraction from that group.
The Redskins cut Kearse on Saturday to make room on the roster for cornerback Deshazor Everett. It marked the third time this season that the team has cut Kearse to make room on the roster because of injury-replacement signings.
Kearse went unclaimed and returned to the team on Monday. Plummer had spent the last two games on the 53-man roster after opening the year on the practice squad.
