The Washington Redskins addressed their left guard spot Friday, and in doing so, brought back a familiar face.
The Redskins agreed to terms with former starter Shawn Lauvao, according to his agents. Lauvao, 30, has spent the last four years with Washington, appearing in 26 games.
Lauvao appeared in nine games last season, but his year was cut short because of a stinger. He was placed on injured reserve in November.
The Redskins did not select a guard in last week’s draft, and executive Doug Williams said they wouldn’t reach for the position.
