The Washington Redskins defense had a rough season. After a fast start in the first few games the unit went into a free fall and ended the season ranked 28th in the league. However, there were some good individual performance on defense this season that deserve recognition.
Defensive end Chris Baker began the season as a reserve but after a few games of strong play he was inserted into the starting lineup. Baker was one of the few consistent performers on the Redskins defense and he finished third on the team with six sacks on the season.
In similar fashion Bashaud Breeland started the 2015 season as the third cornerback but finished the season as the Redskins best.
