A few months ago, we highlighted the necessity of acquiring new tight ends for the Washington Redskins in 2020 – whether it be through free agency or the NFL Draft. There have been some changes since then and while the team added Logan Thomas, Richard Rodgers, and Marcus Baugh, none are considered preferred starters. Late 2019 addition Caleb Wilson spent most of last season on the Arizona Cardinals practice squad and he is considered a longshot to make the final roster. Earlier in the 2019 season, the Indianapolis Colts released rookie Hale Hentges, a rarely used player from Alabama, and the Redskins claimed him right away.
