Redskins agree to terms with defensive end Kendall Reyes

On Day 3 of free agency, the Washington Redskins have made a signing, agreeing to terms with former San Diego Chargers defensive lineman Kendall Reyes on Friday, according to a person with knowledge of the situation. It’s reportedly a one-year deal.

Reyes, who will turn 27 in September, spent his first four seasons with the Chargers as a defensive end. Listed at 6 feet 4 and 300 pounds, Reyes has recorded 13.5 career sacks in 64 games. He started 15 games last season and finished with two sacks, an interception, four passes defended and 25 total tackles.

There are some Redskins coaching ties to Reyes, who began his career in 2012.
